The biggest online marketplace of Bangladesh, Daraz (daraz.com.bd) organised the Seller Summit-2018 in a bid to provide Alibaba’s technology to the customers.
The summit was held at Bangabandhu International Convention Centre (BICC) in the capital is hosted on Tyuesday, said a press release.The first session of the Summit began at 10:00 am with one thousand brand partners and ended with lunch at 2 pm. The second session started at 5:00 pm with about two thousand vendors.
On the occasion he said that Alibaba has established China’s e-commerce globally, similarly we want Daraz to take the lead of e-commerce in Bangladesh in order to fulfilling the dream of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s Digital Bangladesh.”
Minister for Posts, Telecommunication and Information Technology Mustafa Jabbar was present on the second session of the programme.
Syed Mostahidal Hoq, Managing Director of Daraz Bangladesh, said, "All parties including sellers, vendors, brands and customers will be benefited by the new world class e-commerce technology.
