Tech giant Apple will live stream the release of new products including the iPhone, it has confirmed.
Soon after it sent out invitations to the event – which will happen on 12 September, in California – the company confirmed that it will also host video of the event.The event will play host to the launch of a range of products. As well as the almost certain release of the iPhone, Apple is expected to update or launch new iPads, computers and accessories.
It was once not clear that Apple would stream its launches, with some remaining closed to the public until videos were posted after. It has taken providing live coverage of almost all events.
The only exception was March's education event, where it showed off an updated iPad and other products
