Spending
Quality Time On Valentine’s Day

Having a date with your partner on ‘Valentine’s Day’ is one of the main celebration options for romantic people. To impress or surprise beloved in that love-day, people usually take their significant one to the restaurants for a candle light dinner while nature lovers opt for open places. Whatever activity you ultimately decide on, the matter of environment and security usually come into consideration. You do not want to go all out, but you do not want a shabby experience either. So, here are a few options where you can spend some quality time without any hassle.

Kiva Han of Gulshan 1 is a comfortable place besides the more famous Gloria Jean's or North End Roasters, allowing for more privacy and less chances of running into the majority of your friend circle while on a date. Apon Coffee house located in Khilgaon can be another good option for spending excellent time on that special day.

Moreover there are some places in the city that manage to maintain a balance of good food and nice atmosphere. Capricorn Skywatch restaurant at 19th floor, Bashundhara City, is a good option for them who want to experience a superb view under the open sky with best quality foods. Tower Bittersweet, in Gulshan 2, has an aura of casual hip. The place is comfortable, with food items as colourful as its atmosphere. Fool's Diner located at Road 11, Banani, can be another option. The small and artistically intriguing restaurant has taken Dhaka's foodie circles by storm with its array of Asian cuisines. The Stage in Dhanmondi is another great venue where you can find a mix of the joy of good food with live music.

Besides, there are many people who want to spend time with their lover in open places. Diabari can be a good choice in this regard. If anyone wants to witness the scenic beauty of the surrounding rivers of Dhaka and at the same time walk in an open space filled with greeneries, he or she may try out Diabari, which is between Uttara and Ashulia. Boat rides can take people from Diabari to nearby spots of Turag river. For the river lovers, another attractive place is Mirpur Beribadh area. This area is located between the Buddhijibi Graveyard point of Beribadh and Diabari. A theme park has been set up under private ownership at the spot called ‘Tamanna World Family Park’ which is also a nice place. Another attraction is Hatirjheel that will provide you fresh feeling with its waterbodies, greeneries, connecting bridges and walkways, while places like Dhanmondi Lake and Dhaka University campus are common preferences of mass people.

In the meantime it is mentionable that there are some places which should be avoided on Valentine’s Day. Couples should try to avoid overcrowded places in order to stay away from any untoward incident. Moreover the restaurants inside and beside Mirpur Zoo are not safe for the visitors as many types of deception take place there. The very deep jungles of Botanical Garden may also sometimes turn risky for the visitors. Keep these points in mind and make the most of your Valentine’s Day.
