Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji stumped everyone with the trailer of ‘Hichki’. Rani, plays the role of a school teacher who suffers from Tourette’s syndrome, a neurological disorder, reports Midday.
During an interview Rani revealed that she was approached for the role while she was pregnant and that the makers insisted on being casted in the main role. However, the film went to another actress but she turned it down and eventually the film came back to Rani Mukerji. Rani added that while she was pregnant she was away from films and hadn’t worked in a long time. When she decided to work again, she was approached for the film again.Rani admits that when she got to know in depth about the role she was going to play in film, she was dumbfounded. She also said that she felt at some point she didn’t believe she could pull off such a role.
Hichki directed by Siddharth P Malhotra will hit the screens on February 23.
