Sarder Mosharraf passes away

Former Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Sarder Mosharraf, also an advisory council member of Dinajpur district unit Awami League, died of old age complications on Sunday.  He was 81.

Mosharraf, also an organiser of the country’s Liberation War in 1971, left behind wife, a son, a daughter and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed deep shock in the death of Mosharraf.

She also prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.

AL General Secretary Obaidul Quader, also the road transport and bridges minister, also conveyed deep shock in the death of the former MLA.
