Workshop on shrimp, prawn ends at BFRI

A five-day training workshop on Application of Molecular Diagnostic Methods for Shrimp and Prawn concluded at Bangladesh Fisheries Research Institute (BFRI), Shrimp Research Station, Bagerhat on Wednesday.


The workshop was arranged to strengthen the capacity of Bangladeshi professionals and institutions in advanced diagnosis and management of diseases for the sustainability of shrimp and prawn sector.


Dr. Arun K. Dhar, a renowned Molecular Biologist and the Director of world-famous Aquaculture Pathology Laboratory at the University of Arizona, USA conducted the workshop.
