Golf tournament held in honour of two outgoing envoys

In honour of two outgoing foreign envoys to Bangladesh, Dhaka Diplomatic Golf Association (DDGA) and Tiger Golf Club (TGC) jointly arranged a golf tournament at Kurmitola Golf Club (KGC) in the city on Saturday.

To bid adieu to Myo Myint Than, the outgoing ambassador of Myanmar, and Darryl Lau, the charge de affairs/consul of Singaporean Embassy, the tournament was arranged.

In the wake of the tournament, the organisers held a raffle draw and prize distribution event at the restaurant of the KGC.

Myo Myint Than, ambassador of Myanmar, Ma Ming Qiang, Chinese ambassador, Sonam T Rabgye, Bhutanese ambassador, Tran Van Khoa, Vietnamese ambassador, Darryl Lau, consul of Singaporean Embassy, Sergey Savinykh, counselor of Russian Embassy, and Brig General Md Manzur Qader (Retd) of Bangladesh took part in the tournament.  

Air Commodore Mohan Gupta, NDC of India, Brig Ejaz Mirza, defence attaché of Pakistan High Commission in Dhaka, Col Sergey S Kurchenko, military attaché of Russian Embassy, Col Wang Qihua, asst defence attaché of Chinese Embassy, Major General Mahbub Haider Khan, adviser of Bashundhara Group, Major Sayed, DSCSC of Malaysia, and Aung Myint, minister counselor of Myanmar Embassy, also participated in the event, among others.
