CHITTAGONG: Students of University of Science and Technology, Chittagong (USTC) under MBBS programme continued their agitation for the third consecutive day on Tuesday, demanding registration of Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC).
The agitating students locked the university administrative building and took position on busy Zakir Hossain Road on Tuesday afternoon. They staged protests on the road chanting slogans to press home their demand.
BMDC authorities are not registering the students of the three batches as the USTC authorities enrolled more students than the approved seats.
Asked about the demonstration for the last three days, the registrar said they are yet to find a solution regarding the crisis and trying to address it immediately.
