Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan is set to resume work on his much-anticipated film “Soldier”, with shooting scheduled to restart later this month. The actor shared the update while speaking to the media following the special screening of his latest film, “Rockstar”.
Confirming the development, Shakib Khan said that the remaining portions of the film will be shot abroad. “I’m starting Soldier again. The shooting of the remaining part of the movie will be completed outside the country. I hope the audience will get to watch a good film this year,” he said.
Director Shakib Fahad also provided details about the production schedule, revealing that only a small portion of the film remains to be completed. “As Shakib bhai mentioned, he is returning to the look of Soldier. We hope to begin the remaining shoot this month. Very little work is left, and it will be completed outside the country,” the director said.
Earlier, Fahad had announced plans to resume filming after Eid-ul-Azha, and the production team is now moving forward with that schedule. According to the producers, there is currently no plan to release the film around a specific Eid festival. Instead, the release date will be finalized after the completion of post-production work.
The shooting of Soldier began in October last year. The film stars actress Tanjin Tisha opposite Shakib Khan and features a strong supporting cast, including Tariq Anam Khan, Jannatul Ferdous Oishee, and ABM Sumon. The action-packed project is being produced under the banner of Sun Motion Pictures.
