The Israeli military said Wednesday it had reinstated the Gaza ceasefire after carrying out a series of strikes that killed at least 91 people since the previous day.
The dead included at least 24 children.
"Following a series of strikes, in which dozens of terror targets and terrorists were struck, the IDF has begun the renewed enforcement of the ceasefire in response to Hamas' violations," the military said.
It did not provide proofs that Hams was involved in alleged attacks on Israeli forces in Gaza that killed one occupying troop.
"As part of the strikes, the IDF and ISA struck 30 terrorists holding command positions within the terrorist organisations operating in the Gaza Strip," it added.
It said the military would “continue to enforce the agreement and respond forcefully to any violation”.
