Hafezzi Charitable Society of Bangladesh (HCSB) has successfully organised its Service and Dawah Conference, drawing the participation of prominent scholars, academics, social workers, political leaders, and a large number of general attendees.

As the chief guest, Religious Affairs Adviser AFM Khalid Hossain was present at the event organsied by the HCSB in the capital on Saturday.

The session was presided over by the HCSB President and BEFAQ Secretary General Mufti Mahfuzul Haque.

“The Hafezzi Charitable Society is not only active in dawah but has made significant contributions to humanitarian service. Serving humanity is the essence of Islam. The Society’s support for oppressed Muslims worldwide, particularly in Gaza, deserves the highest praise,” Khalid Hossain said.

He urged the youth to engage in dawah alongside humanitarian service, stating that only then can a truly Islamic society be built, according to a press release.

Special guest Sharif Usman Hadi, spokesperson of the Inqilab Manch, also called upon media outlets to highlight and promote such positive work.

Mufti Harun Izhar, Saifur Rahman Sagar, Shaykh Jasim Uddin Rahmani, Mufti Rezwan Rafiqi, Mohsin Rashid, Mufti Rezaul Karim Abrar, Nazmus Sadat, and the ambassador of Afghanistan were also present, among others.

They emphasised that one of the core teachings of Islam is humanitarian service, and noted that standing by the poor and underprivileged while striving for a morally upright society represents the true spirit of dawah.

The speakers also underscored that Islamic dawah in the present world must be rooted in social responsibility, justice, and unity.

They praised the remarkable contributions of the HCSB at home and abroad, particularly its ongoing humanitarian efforts in Gaza, which they described as a matter of pride for Bangladesh.
