Afran Nisho, one of the most popular actors in the country, has been entertaining the audience for more than two decades. He began his career on the small screen before moving into films, where “Surongo” and “Daagi” established him as a major name in cinema. Following those successes, fans now expect to see him regular on the big screen. Yet off screen, many are surprised to find the star leading an unexpectedly ordinary life.

In a recent interview with a local media the talented artiste spoke candidly about his lifestyle.

“Even now, if I want, I take the public bus, go to the tong shop and have tea. I walk on the grass when I go beyond 300 feet. If I want to take a bath, there is canal, I do it there,” he said.

While many celebrities follow protocols that distance them from crowds, Nisho rejects such practices, calling them unnecessary. “I find them unnecessary and wasteful. I stay simple – this is my style. At the end of the day, I have to sleep underground (Grave). So, I want to be as grounded as I can. I want to get closer to my fans”, the actor said.

The actor believes that maintaining an ordinary personal life allows him to focus on creating extraordinary work. “I want to remain ordinary as a person. But my work should be extraordinary. Only then can I make a place in the hearts of the audience for a long time,” Nisho.

Fans have praised this attitude, noting that when a star values everyday people and life’s smaller joys, it strengthens the bond between artist and audience.

It may be mentioned that Nisho’s latest project, Aka, co-starring Masuma Rahman Nabila, will premiere on the OTT platform Hoichoi on 4 September.
