Cuba’s ‘not sure yet’ when he will join U-23 side in Bahrain

Cuba Mitchell along with his Bashundhara Kings teammates returned home on Thursday after a 1-0 win over Syrian side Al Karamah SC which took them to the group stage of AFC Challenge Cup.

But Cuba’s arrival in the country has raised fresh new questions. The midfielder was supposed to join the U-23 team in Bahrain who flew from Bangladesh on the same day. Cuba, however, wasn’t aware when he will be joining the U-23 side’s preparational tour in Bahrain.

“I’m not sure yet,” Cuba said at the airport when he was asked when he will be joining the U-23 side in Bahrain.

“Hopefully, it will be solved in the next few days,” he added.
