‘Moyna’ tops YouTube trending

The most-talked-about music video “Moyna” has emerged as a new surprise in the world of Bengali music.

The song was released on 29 July as the first song of Gaanchil Music’s new project “Bangla Originals” on Gaanchil Music’s YouTube channel.

Since its release, the track has received a great response from the audience. Just six days after its release, the song has reached number one on YouTube’s trending list.

The song’s lyricist and Gaanchil Music’s founder, Asif Iqbal, confirmed the matter to the media.

He said, “If the song is good, the audience will enjoy it - we have repeatedly found proof of that. Our ‘Moyna’ has now reached number one on YouTube trending.”

Popular Dhallywood heroine Shobnom Bubly has performed outside the cinema for the first time in the video of the song. Producer and actor Sharaf Ahmed Jiban danced with her in the video.

The song is sung by National Film Award-winning singer Konal, and Niloy D Rockstar has lent his voice to her. The tunes and music are by Kolkata’s Akash Sen, and the lyrics are written by Asif Iqbal.
