Before her ouster, dictator Sheikh Hasina claimed she had obtained the license to kill 226 people as 226 lawsuits were filed against them for participating in last year’s uprising, according to the forensic examination of audio records of the Awami League leader’s remarks.

On Wednesday, International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) Chief Prosecutor Tajul Islam told the tribunal the ICT investigation team has obtained the forensic results confirming Hasina’s audacious statement.

Based on the forensic report, a lawsuit over the contempt of court was filed against Hasina.
