The Islamic Foundation has suspended a recent recruitment notice amid unexpected public confusions aired on different media platforms, and has decided to re-issue the notice following a thorough review.

Till then the Foundation has urged all to avoid confusions, and to act responsibly.

The Foundation clarified on Tuesday (April 29) that before publishing the notice, it was decided in a selection committee meeting to prioritize candidates with madrasa education—especially those holding a Dawra-e-Hadith degree from Qawmi madrasas, which is equivalent to a Master’s degree as per government recognition.

Since many Qawmi graduates lack formal SSC, HSC, or Bachelor's certificates, the notice was drafted to ensure their participation in both higher and lower-grade positions. This is the first such initiative in the Foundation’s history, aiming to include all Qawmi-educated individuals, the Foundation claimed.

However, due to public confusion and to respect various concerns, the Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Foundation have decided to temporarily suspend the recruitment notice. A revised version will be issued after thorough review, it said Tuesday.
