The Dhaka University (DU) teachers from the “White Panel” have called on Israel to stop its grabbing of Palestinian land and end the ongoing genocidal mission in Gaza.

The panel of pro-BNP and pro-Jamaat teachers also expressed solidarity with the global “No Work, No School Until Genocide Stops” movement.

DU White Panel Convener Professor Dr Morshed Hasan Khan, and Joint Conveners Professor Dr Abdus Salam and Professor Dr Abul Kalam Sarkar jointly signed on a panel statement issued in this regard.

In the statement, they said that the ongoing Israeli aggression, occupation, and brutal genocide in Gaza have left the world's conscious people speechless. Speaking out against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s bloodthirsty policies is now not only a humanitarian duty but also the responsibility of every Muslim and human being. When the oppressed people of Gaza are bleeding, it is the duty of every conscientious person to stand on the side of justice.

If not, people will have to answer to human civilization, the said emphasising the Israeli genocide and occupation must be stopped immediately.

The organisation's leaders say that the declaration from Gaza, "No Work, No School Until Genocide Stops," is not just a slogan; it is a final call from humanity's side. In response to this call from the long-suffering and oppressed people of Gaza, we declare full solidarity with the worldwide strike called for this Monday.
