The Bangladesh women’s football team captain Sabina Khatun, SAFF Best Player Rituparna Chakma, Monica Chakma, and Matsushima Sumaiya arrived in Thimphu, Bhutan, this morning to take part in Bhutan’s Women's Football League. Upon their arrival, they were warmly welcomed by officials from Paro FC.

In addition to these players, goalkeeper Rupna Chakma and defender Masura Parveen are also set to play for Transport United in Bhutan's league. Sagarika, who faced age-related registration issues, was unable to join in time, but Krishna Rani Sarkar, another senior player, is in discussions with the Bhutanese club to take her place. Once confirmed, Masura and Rupna will join the rest of the players in Bhutan.

Asian Cup qualifiers will take place in Myanmar during the last week of June. In preparation for this, the BFF has called up 55 female footballers for a training camp. This afternoon, Krishna Rani Sarkar and several other players joined the camp, with most players expected to arrive by tonight. Butler is also expected to arrive in Dhaka by tonight.

Training sessions will kick off tomorrow, with two gym sessions scheduled for the morning and afternoon. Butler will be present at both sessions.
