BNP Joint Secretary General Syed Emran Saleh Prince has said this Eid-ul-Fitr has become joyful and festive in an environment free from fascism.

“This joy must be made meaningful and lasting by restoring democracy fully through holding the election as early as possible,” he said while hosting an Eid reception at Haluaghat in Mymensingh.

Prince conveyed Eid greetings to all present at the event on behalf of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia and acting chairman Tarique Rahman.

The BNP leader said he would arrange such programmes on a larger scale in future.
