BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman offered Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at the Kingsmeadow Stadium in Kingston, London on Sunday morning.

Accompanied by Khaleda Zia's personal physician AZM Zahid Hossain and UK BNP leader Kamal Uddin, Tarique arrived at the congregational venue after 9am. Several other BNP leaders and activists were also present there.

It was known earlier that the BNP acting chairman would join the Eid prayers at this open ground if the weather was favourable, otherwise, he would have offered Eid prayers at Kingston Jame Mosque.

After the prayers, he exchanged Eid greetings with community figures and BNP men from different areas of London.

After almost a decade, Tarique Rahman celebrated Eid with his mother Khaleda Zia who came to London on 8 January for advanced treatment.
