Four passengers, including a woman and a child, were killed when a bus collided with an auto-rickshaw in the border area of Gauripur and Sadar upazilas in Mymensingh.

The accident occurred around 7:00 am on Sunday on the Mymensingh-Kishoreganj highway near Chandrapara in Gauripur Upazila and Saheb Kachari in Sadar Upazila.

The deceased have been identified as Kulsum Begum (95), wife of Obaidur Rahman from Durbachar village in Vanganamari Union, Gauripur Upazila; Dilruba (40), wife of Manik Mia from the same area; Dilruba (7), daughter of Saiful Islam from Ward 16 of Mymensingh City Corporation; and her elder sister Riti (14).

Mymensingh Medical College Hospital police outpost in-charge Md. Shafiquddin confirmed the information.
