BNP hosted an iftar party and doa mahfil for the recovery of the party Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia at Kasba Upazila in Brahmanbaria on Friday. 

The event took place at the Kasba Women’s Degree College ground in the evening. It was organised by Kasba Upazila and Municipal BNP on behalf of the chairperson’s advisor and former Member of Parliament Mushfiqur Rahman.  

Hafizur Rahman Molla, former president of the Brahmanbaria District BNP, graced the occasion as the chief guest while Mohammad Ilyas, former president of Kasba Upazila BNP, presided over the event. 

Among others, former general secretary of the district BNP, Zahirul Haque, former district BNP member, Engineer Md. Nazmul Huda Khandakar, former president of Brahmanbaria Municipal BNP, Shafiqul Islam, former joint general secretary of the district BNP, A.B.M. Mominul Haque, and district BNP convening committee member, Mainul Hossain Chapal were also present.  

During the iftar and prayer gathering, party leaders and activists offered prayers for the swift recovery of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia.
