Bangladesh Red beat Bangladesh Green

To commemorate Independence Day, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) hosted a friendly T10 cricket match, where Bangladesh Red, led by Akram Khan, secured a 27-run victory over Bangladesh Green, captained by Minhajul Abedin.
The match took place on Wednesday at Mirpur’s Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, with Bangladesh Red posting a competitive total of 110 for 3 in their allotted 10 overs.
Mehrab Hossain top-scored with 35 runs, while Faisal Hossain provided a quick-fire 17 off 7 balls. Abdur Razzak remained unbeaten on 11 off 14 balls, and Dollar Mahmud contributed 9 runs off just 4 balls without losing his wicket.
For Bangladesh Green, Mohammad Rafique, Hasibul Hossain Shanto, and Mushfiq Babu each picked up one wicket.
Chasing a target of 111 runs, Bangladesh Green managed 83 for 5 in their 10 overs, falling 27 runs short.
Talha Jubair played a blistering unbeaten knock of 29 runs, smashing three fours and two sixes off just 12 balls, while Mohammad Rafique contributed 25 off 17 balls.
However, Bangladesh Red’s bowlers ensured victory, with Abdur Razzak and Faisal Hossain picking up two wickets each.
For his all-round performance, Mehrab Hossain was named Player of the Match.
