BNP Joint Secretary General Imran Saleh Prince has called upon his party’s leaders and activists to work for the greater interest of the country for its peace and prosperity, ignoring petty political interests.
While addressing an iftar party held at Dhobaura Upazila of Mymensingh on Monday, he said BNP remains an uncompromised political party for the sake of the country’s independence, democracy, sovereignty and the interest of its people.
Underscoring the need for working collectively to uphold the dignity of all state apparatus, he said that weakening or disrespecting the state organs is equivalent to disrespecting the state.
Motahar Hossain Talukdar, joint convener of Mymensing Uttar district unit BNP and Mofiz Uddin, former chairman of the upazila, among others, spoke at the programme.
