Jamaat Ameer urges people to stand beside Gaza

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman has called on the Muslim Ummah and all conscientious and peace-loving people of the world to unite in a concerted effort to stand with the oppressed people of Gaza and put an end to the brutality and genocide being carried out against them.

He made this appeal while addressing an Iftar Party organised by the West Kafrul Thana Jamaat at the Manipur School and College (Branch-3) field in Sheorapara of Dhaka on Thursday. The event was presided over by Thana Ameer Abdul Matin Khan and conducted by General Secretary Atik Hasan Raihan.

The event was also attended by several key figures, including Central Executive Council Member and Naib-e-Ameer of Dhaka North, Abdur Rahman Musa, Central Executive Council Member and Secretary of Dhaka North, Dr Rezaul Karim, and Assistant Secretary Dr Fakhruddin Manik, who all spoke as special guests.

Dr Shafiqur Rahman emphasised that Gaza remains undefeated because its people are warriors of the Quran, standing firm against fear and oppression. Despite being terrorised into leaving their homeland, they continue to wait for Allah’s decree and remain steadfast. He added that while mothers around the world give birth to children, the mothers of Gaza give birth to warriors, and one day, Zionist forces will be defeated by Gaza’s resistance fighters.

He further stressed that witnessing such brutality makes it impossible for anyone to remain silent. Everyone must contribute according to their ability and stand by these oppressed brothers and sisters in their time of need.

The Jamaat Ameer remarked that instability and chaos in society stem from the governance of man-made ideologies. He asserted that if the Quran were made victorious in society and the state, people of all religions would coexist peacefully without any difficulties.
