Bangladesh mission in New Delhi hosts investors, invites investment ahead of April summit
Representatives from medium and large enterprises attended the event held on the mission premises on Thursday

The Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi has hosted an interaction with Indian investors and business leaders ahead of the Bangladesh Investment Summit in April.
The event, held on Thursday night at the High Commission premises, brought together representatives from medium and large enterprises to explore investment opportunities in Bangladesh, according to a press release.
The summit is scheduled to take place in Dhaka from April 7-10.
Acting Bangladesh High Commissioner Md Nurul Islam highlighted Bangladesh’s new leadership and economic progress, emphasizing the country’s investment-friendly environment.
"With abundant energy resources and a competitive workforce, it’s hard to find a better destination for foreign investment that promises significant returns," he said.
Abdullah Al Mamun, Minister (Political) at the High Commission, briefed the investors, while Iftekhar Uddin Shamin, Counselor (Commerce), and Johirul Islam, Counselor (Economic), addressed queries during a Q&A session.
The event was attended by representatives from major Indian corporations, including Ashok Leyland and Larsen & Toubro.
