Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP), who consolidated the top spot of six-team Group B with 15 points in the ongoing Women’s Development Cup Hockey, organized by Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF) and sponsored by BRAC Bank PLC, will take on Group A runners-up Rajshahi, who earned 7 points, on Friday at the Bangladesh Air Force Hockey Ground.

Rajshahi beat Chattogram by 3-0 goals in their last group match at the Maulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium on Thursday.

In the day’s other semifinal, Group A toppers Jessore will take on Group B runners-up Kishoreganj at the Maulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium.

Jessore secured the top spot of the five-team Group A with 12 points. Three teams of the Group B -  Kishoreganj, Jhenaidah and Thakurgaon – had earned 9 points each, but Kishoreganj qualified for the semis due to having better goal difference +22 and number of goals scored 41.

Both semis will take place at the same 9 am (BST).

The final and the place-deciders (third/fourth) will be held on Saturday at the Maulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium.
