In a groundbreaking leap for digital healthcare, Susthotaa is transforming emergency medical services across Bangladesh.
Boasting the country’s largest ambulance fleet, the health tech company guarantees that an ambulance will reach you from the nearest location within just 30 minutes—because in critical moments, every second counts.
Launched in May 2024 by two visionary young entrepreneurs from Dhaka, Susthotaa is on a mission to deliver instant, reliable ambulance services nationwide.
Today, their network ensures rapid response in almost every district of the country, redefining emergency healthcare access for millions.
A mission born from personal tragedy
The inspiration behind Susthotaa is deeply personal.
CEO Mezbaul Amin recalls the tragic loss of a close friend in a road accident, where the absence of immediate ambulance support proved fatal. Similarly, COO Tayabur Rahman experienced a family tragedy under similar circumstances.
These heart-wrenching incidents ignited their commitment to ensure that no one else suffers from the same preventable delays.
Every second matters when it comes to saving lives. Susthotaa’s ambulances are not just fast—they are fully equipped to handle critical emergencies, from heart attacks to severe injuries.
Their comprehensive fleet includes standard AC ambulances, ICU and NICU ambulances, mortuary freezer ambulances, domestic and international air ambulance services.
24/7, anywhere, anytime
Chairman Angelo Hamid emphasises Susthotaa’s unwavering mission: “One call for an ambulance—that’s our promise. We’re available 24/7, anywhere in the country through our hotline 09601 222 777, with state-of-the-art medical support. You can also visit our website for emergency ambulance services and you can even pre-book ambulances for a later time and date.”
With services accessible via a dedicated call centre and user-friendly website, Susthotaa is setting new standards for online-based healthcare in Bangladesh.
Health experts believe this initiative will significantly enhance the quality of life and improve emergency healthcare accessibility for all.
