The Japanese government on Friday improved its travel outlook for Bangladesh, lowering the danger alert from level 2 to level 1.
The government issued the level 2 alert for its citizens discouraging them from travelling to Bangladesh for non-essential purposes in the month of December.
The July-August uprising and subsequent breakdown in public order prompted Japan’s foreign affairs ministry to issue the level-2 alert.
As the internal security situation continues to improve in Bangladesh, Japan has decided to lower its danger warning.
Japan uses a four-level alert system to caution its citizens against potentially dangerous travels overseas.
Here, level-4 signifies highest risk, level-2 signifies recommendation against unnecessary travel and level-1 signifies caution.
