The Russian House in Dhaka on Monday organised a screening of the Russian documentary film of the RT Documentary channel “Camera! Motor! Yakutia” timed to coincide with the International Cinema Day.

During the event, the audience learned: “Any Yakutian dreams of starring in a movie or making a movie,” they say in the republic. And this is true. In terms of film production, the region is in third place in Russia. Only Moscow and St Petersburg are ahead.

Triumphant of international festivals and favorite of film critics, Yakut films in the local box office successfully compete with Hollywood blockbusters, read a press release.

At the event, an online presentation of the Omsk State Agricultural University was held for the participants.
