BKF to arrange test matches against Nepal or Sri Lanka
Navy qualify for men’s final of Victory Day Kabaddi

Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation (BKF) on Sunday announced to arrange test matches against one of the South Asian teams -- Nepal or Sri Lanka.
The decision was taken in the first meeting of the ad hoc committee, chaired by BKF President and Inspector General of Police Baharul Alam.
The meeting also decided to arrange a national camp for men’s and women’s teams, national championships for boys and girls, junior services league and women’s corporate league, coaches’ and referees’ training.
Also, the ad hoc committee took decision for sending Bangladeshi players in the Dubai and Thailand franchises leagues and to arrange the upcoming Youth Festival.
BKF committee also said in a press release that it would soon form various sub-committees to run these events.
Meanwhile, Navy reached the men’s final of the ongoing Victory Day Kabaddi 2024 (Men and Women) after beating Army in a tie-breaker of the first semifinal match at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium on the same day.
The day's exciting match went on tie-breaker as both teams were locked at 32-32 points in the regulated time.
In the tie-breaker, both sides got chances to raid five times each. Navy added 6 points and Army added four points.
The second semifinal between Air Force and Police will be held on Monday at the same venue.
In the women’s semifinals, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) will take on Police and Ansar and VDP will meet Narail, both on Monday at the same venue.
