To answer everyone’s question, the actor-starrer movie “Priyo Maloti” releases in theatres today. The movie will be shown at total of 22 cinemas across the country, including All branches of Star Cineplex, Blockbuster Cinemas, Shyamoli, Lion Cinemas, Anand, BGB, Sainik Club in Dhaka, CineScope in Narayanganj, Sugandha in Chattogram, Grand Sylhet Movie Theatre in Sylhet, Madhuban Cineplex in Bogra, Modern in Dinajpur, Banalata in Faridpur, Swapnil Cineplex in Kushtia, and Roopkotha in Pabna.

Mehazabien Chowdhury has played the title role in the Shankh Dasgupta-directed movie.

 In response to the question of why the audience should watch “Priyo Maloti’, the actor said, “The audience should watch ‘Priyo Maloti, because the movie talks about issues that are usually ignored in movies. It is a social drama movie. Various questions have been raised here - systemic problems, bureaucratic complications and how we are losing humanity day by day. I decided to act in this movie because I felt that ‘Priyo Maloti’ is a character through which we can show the stories of many people around us, especially the lower-middle class and working class people.”

“The audience is always with me. They have accepted and loved almost all of my stories and characters. Only because of their love, I have come to this position. I believe that the audience will also come to the theatres to watch my films”, she added.

Actor Nader Chowdhury, Azad Abul Kalam, Shahjahan Samrat, Rizvi Riju and many others have also acted in the project.
