Popular band Lalon released their latest album “Bauls of Bengal” featuring songs by four Bauls in October. The album, which consists of seven songs, received positive response from the audience. Now, the band is coming up with more three new songs in the new year.

Band Leader Thein Han Maung Titi said, “We released a new music album this year after a hiatus. The album “Bauls of Bengal” has received a good response from the audience. So next year, not a new album, we will present three new songs for the audience. Among them, one track is a collaboration with the late musician Matiur Rahman Hasan alias Pagal Hasan, in his honour. The title of the song is “Baganer Mali”. It has already been made. The song will be released in the New Year. Apart from this, two more new songs are being worked on.”  

Meanwhile, Lalon is busy with multiple concerts at the end of the year. They have already held several concerts this month. They have four more concerts ahead.

Lalon’s current lineup includes Band Members Tahjib Ur Rashid Adib (bass guitar), Nigar Sultana Sumi (lead vocals), Arafat Bosunia (keyboard and synthesizer player), Mohonto Sarker (guitar), SM Anwar Reaz Mahmud (sound Engineer), and Thein Han Maung Titi (drums).
