OIC calls for an end to the Israeli aggression in Palestine

OIC Secretary General Hissein Brahim Taha called on the international community to put an end to the ongoing Israeli aggression, ending settlements and occupation of Palestinian land, and establishing an independent Palestinian State on the borders of 4 June 1967, with Al-Quds as its capital.
He made the call while speaking at the Ministerial Conference on Humanitarian Assistance to the Gaza Strip organised in Cairo by the Arab Republic of Egypt on Monday.
President of Egypt Abdel Fattah El-Sisi organised the event in cooperation with the United Nations under the title "A Year after the Humanitarian Disaster in Gaza: Urgent Needs and Permanent Solutions."
In his speech during, the OIC Secretary-General stressed the importance of strengthening the solidarity and support of the international community towards the worsening humanitarian challenges in the Gaza Strip, said a press release of the OIC on Tuesday.
Renewing the organisation’s insistence on the necessity of achieving an immediate, permanent, and comprehensive ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, he called for putting an end to all Israeli violations in the occupied Palestinian territory, including Al-Quds Al-Sharif.
The Secretary-General appreciated the humanitarian assistance provided by countries and organizations to the Palestinian people, stressing the determination of the OIC and its institutions to remain an effective partner in all efforts aimed at alleviating the humanitarian suffering of the Palestinian people and strengthening their steadfastness.
