Bashundhara Shuvosangho started a campaign in Rangabali upazila of Patuakhali to voice opposition to violence against women and girls.

The sixteen-day campaign began Monday with a vision of a world free from violence, according to a press release on Wednesday.

Village Education Resource Center (VERC) project coordinator Mohsin Talukder and facilitator Kaniz Sultan were present at the discussion, with Shuvosangho Rangabali unit coordinator M Sohel in the chair.

In their speech, the discussants mentioned that violence against women is internationally cited as a gross violation of human rights.
