Bangladesh Khelafat Majlish’s General Secretary Mamunul Haque has called for an immediate ban on ISKCON, accusing the organisation of carrying out “terrorist activities.”

Speaking as the chief guest at a meeting organised by the Ulama District Parishad at Kushtia High School grounds on Wednesday night, Mamunul issued stern warnings, stating that the nation’s Tawhidi people might be compelled to act if ISKCON’s activities continue.

He assured the minority communities of protection, claiming, “Our party will safeguard the lives, property, honour, and religious freedom of all minorities.”

However, he added that any effort to challenge the beliefs of Tawhidi people through terrorism would face firm resistance.

Mamunul urged Islamic scholars to prepare for a revolution, vowing to eliminate “anti-Quranic and anti-Islamic forces.” He called for constitutional reforms to ensure no laws contradict Allah’s guidance, asserting that any such laws would be invalidated.

The Khelafat leader also accused the Awami League government of practising fascism and failing to uphold Islamic principles in governance.
