Professor Dr. Mohammad Abu Yousuf, Vice-Chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University, Bangladesh (BDU), expressed his commitment to producing IT researchers to contribute to building a new Bangladesh. 

He shared his vision on Saturday at the orientation ceremony for the 2023-24 academic year held at the university's academic building in Kaliakair, Gazipur.

"We have no option but to create a technology-driven state in this advanced technological world," stated Professor Dr. Yousuf. He emphasized that BDU’s specialized programs are critical in building a tech-based society and that the students of BDU would make unique contributions to nation-building.

The programme was chaired by Md. Ashrafuzzaman, Chairman of the Department of Educational Technology and Engineering, with special remarks from BDU’s Honorable Treasurer, Professor Dr. Md. Anwar Hossain.
