A Dhaka court on Thursday put Commodore Monirul Islam, former director (Border) of the National Security Intelligence (NSI), on a three-day remand in a case filed over the killing of a teenager in the capital during the student-led job quota reform movement.

Police produced Monirul Islam, who was arrested from the capital on Wednesday, before the court with a 10-day remand prayer.
