Hollywood Movies: After much wait, Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga starrer Joker: Folie à Deux is all set to hit the big screens today. Other titles like Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama and Venom: The Last Dance and more movies in genres like animation, action and drama will also be released on the big screens next month. Here’s a complete list of Hollywood titles you can look forward to in the month of October.  

‘Joker: Folie à Deux’

‘Joker: Folie à Deux’ is the sequel to ‘Joker' (2019), loosely based on DC Comics characters, and stars Joaquin Phoenix reprising his role as Arthur Fleck aka the Joker with Lady Gaga joining the cast as his love interest Harley Quinn. It continues two years after the events of Joker (2019). Arthur Fleck, now a patient at Arkham State Hospital, falls in love with fellow inmate Lee Quinzel.
As the two experience life as a musical through their linked insanity, Arthur's followers start a movement to liberate him. Directed by Todd Philips, the film is slated to release in theatres today in India.

‘White Bird’

‘White Bird’ is based on a 2019 graphic novel of the same name by RJ Palacio. The film is a prequel and sequel to the 2017 film Wonder. White Bird tells the story of Julian struggling to fit in at his new school after being expelled for his treatment of Auggie Pullman. Directed by Marc Foster, the film is scheduled to release in USA on 4 October.

The Apprentice

‘The Apprentice’ is set in the 1970s and follows the story of Donald Trump who seeks independence from his father's influence. How he enters the picture in the Manhattan real estate business and becomes a leader forms the crux of the story. Directed by Ali Abbasi, the film is scheduled to release in theatres on 17 October.

 Goodrich

Goodrich follows the story of a father who seeks the help of his daughter to raise his young twins after his second wife leaves him. Directed by Hallie Meyers-Shyer, the film is set to release on 18 October.

The Wild Robot

The Wild Robot tells the story of a robot named Roz who must learn to adapt to its new surroundings. Building relationships with the native animals, Roz soon develops a parental bond with an orphaned gosling. Directed by Chris Sanders, the film is set to release on 18 October.

Venom: The Last Dance

‘Venom: The Last Dance’ is the third installment in the Venom franchise, featuring Tom Hardy. The film will follow the story of Eddie Brock (Hardy) and Venom who must make a devastating decision as they're pursued by a mysterious military man.
Directed by Kelly Marcel and the film also stars Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu and Chiwetel Ejiofor among others. It will be released on 25 October in India.
