The Supreme Court on Wednesday launched a hotline to prevent harassment and other obstacles people face when seeking judicial and other services at the top court.
An official from the Supreme Court registry will receive calls on the number “+8801316154216” from 10am to 4pm everyday, except holidays.
The official will address complaints made by service seekers and also provide necessary procedural advice.
Supreme Court Public Relations Officer Md Shafiqul Islam issued a press release in this regard on Wednesday.
It is worth noting that on 18 September, Chief Justice Dr Syed Refaat Ahmed had asked his subordinates to simplify the court’s services for people and improve operational transparency as well as accountability.
