Iran keen to boost bilateral ties with Bangladesh: Envoy

Iran is willing to strengthen bilateral relations with Bangladesh in various areas, including trade and commerce, culture, energy, education, and health.
Mansour Chavoshi, Iranian ambassador in Dhaka, expressed his country's desire as he paid a courtesy call on Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus at the latter's office at Tejgaon in Dhaka on Sunday.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on issues related to mutual interests.
The envoy conveyed the support and cooperation of the Iranian government to Bangladesh’s interim government.
Chief Adviser Prof Yunus welcomed the Iranian gestures and thanked Iran for supporting Bangladesh on the Rohingya issues in the global forum.
