2 ICT cases filed against Hasina over Ashulia corpse burning

Two more complaints of crimes against humanity have been lodged against deposed Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and others with the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT).
The families of two of the six victims who were killed before burning their bodies in Ashulia of Dhaka during the mass upsurge on 5 August lodged the complaints on Wednesday, confirmed lawyer Huzzatul Islam Khan.
The lawyer said he filed the complaints on behalf of the brother of deceased Sabur and the mother of victim Sajal.
Apart from Hasina, 68 other people, including former ministers Obaidul Quader and Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, ex-PM's Adviser Salman F Rahman, ex-Inspector General of Police Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun, former Superintendent of Police of Dhaka district Maruf Hossain Sardar and suspended Additional SP Abdullahhil Kafi, were named in the complaints.
With this, 14 complaints of crimes against humanity have so far been lodged against Hasina with the ICT.
