Golam Rabbani, Joint Secretary (Administration-1) of Law and Justice Department under the law ministry, has been appointed as the new secretary of the department.

An office order was issued to this end on Sunday.

The order issued in the public interest will come into effect immediately, it added.

Meanwhile, Md Golam Sarwar, secretary of the division, has been made the attached officer of the Law and Justice Division.
