The BNP has dissolved the convening committee of its Chattogram south district unit.

A press release, signed by the party's Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, announced the dissolution of the convening committee on Sunday.

Besides, the party suspended all posts, including the primary membership, of Chattogram south district unit’s former convener Abu Sufian, first joint convener Md Enamul Haq Enam, and convening committee member SM Mamun Mia.

In Munshiganj’s Louhajang upazila, the party expelled Kumarbhog union unit’s president Md Kawser Talukder and its secretary Anwar Hossain Jony from all its posts, including the primary membership, for their involvement in the anti-party activities, another press release read.
