Professor Dr. Sayedur Rahman, Chairman of the Department of Pharmacology, has been appointed as the new Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).

A notification regarding his appointment was issued by the Health Education and Family Welfare Division of the Ministry of Health on Tuesday (27 August).

Sayedur Rahman is succeeding the outgoing Vice-Chancellor Prof Deen Md Nurul Haque.
