The News Broadcasters Alliance Society of Bangladesh (NBA), an organization of news presenters from private television and radio stations, has strongly condemned and protested the attack and vandalism incident at East West Media Group.

In a statement released on Tuesday, the NBA expressed its condemnation and protest.

The statement mentioned that an attack and vandalism occurred at the East West Media office on Monday. The NBA strongly condemns and protests this incident. Besides, we are deeply concerned about the safety of our colleagues.

The statement further added, "We urge that those responsible for the attacks on these media outlets be brought to justice promptly, and a safe environment be ensured. We do not want to see a repetition of such incidents. At the same time, we stand by our colleagues in any situation."

East West Media Group, a concern of Bashundhara Group, houses the Bangladesh Pratidin, the Kaler Kantho, the Daily Sun, Banglanews24, Radio Capital, News24, and T-Sports.
