Ali Imam appointed chief adviser’s special assistant

Former cabinet secretary Ali Imam Majumder has been appointed as the special assistant to the interim government’s chief adviser, Prof Muhammad Yunus.
The Cabinet Division issued a circular in this regard on Monday.
While holding the post of special assistant to the chief adviser, Ali Imam will enjoy the rank of adviser, and get salaries and allowances as well as other benefits, read the circular.
Ali Imam Majumder served as the former cabinet secretary from 6 December 2006 to 27 November 2008.
