Nobel Laureate Dr Muhammad Yunus arrived at the Bangabhaban to take the oath as the head of Bangladesh’s interim government.

Earlier in the evening, a motorcade carrying Dr. Yunus departed from his Gulshan residence.

The oath-taking ceremony is scheduled to be held at the Bangabhaban around 9 pm with dignitaries from various classes and professions in attendance.

Additionally, members of the diplomatic corps took part in the event.

Meanwhile, several senior leaders of different political parties including BNP also attended the oath-taking ceremony.
