BNP leader Moudud’s son Aman passes away

Aman Momtaz Moudud, 38, son of BNP standing committee member Barrister Moudud Ahmed, died on way to a Singapore hospital on early Tuesday.


BNP sources said, Aman breathed his last around 4:30am when he was being flown to Singapore by an air ambulance.

The 38-year-old Aman was admitted to United Hospital in the capital on Saturday as he fell sick. Later, a medical team of the hospital suggested taking him abroad for better treatment.

BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia and acting secretary general of the party Mirza Fakhrul Islam mourned his death and prayed for his departed soul.
