Celebrities of the country in different fields took to their social media to express their thoughts after Sheikh Hasina’s resignation on Monday.

Renowned director Mostofa Sarwar Farooki wrote, “Welcome to the independent country on July 36! How did Sheikh Hasina become the worst and cruelest dictator in the history of the country from the daughter of the architect of the country’s freedom, it will be read by students of history in the future. And hope the politicians learn from this.”

Celebrities express their happinessDirector Ashfaque Nipun said, “Mrs. Sheikh Hasina, the country is not your father’s alone. The country is ours too. Those whose country they do not leave the country. Allah Hafeez. Regards, a proud Bangladeshi.” 

In another post he wrote, “Bangladesh is FREE from the long dictatorship of Tyrant and murderer Sheikh Hasina! Gratitude to the Quota reform movement students and the people of my country for making this possible! This is just the beginning. We will reform our motherland!”

Film actor Siam Ahmed simply wrote, “Bangladesh 2.0”.

Social media celebrity Salman Mohammad Muqtadir updated his profile picture written “Shwadhin”. He wrote, Allahu akbar Allah this so called GEN-z has saved us all Celebrities express their happinessfrom the most monstrous inhuman dictator that could ever exist on this earth. They have done what the world and others countries couldn’t do for us. We all owe them our life. Allah shower your immense mercy and blessings on this generation that sacrificed selflessly. I salute to you Gen z. All of you. You are our hero’s.”
